CRIMINAL DEFENSE TRAINING AND BACKGROUND OF PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY, JESSICA RODRIGUEZ: FOUNDER OF RODRIGUEZ LAW.

Rodriguez Law was founded by Attorney Jessica Rodriguez, but her criminal defense background started some decades ago while working as a receptionist and later as a legal intern at her sister’s firm.  For a few decades, it was considered a top criminal defense law firm in the Tri-Cities, but her sister would later be elected to the Superior Court bench.  Jessica’s foundation was built on the instrumental training she inherited there. For the past decade, Jessica practiced in various counties across the eastern part of the state with one of the best in criminal defense, Stephen J Felice. He had four decades of criminal defense experience in private practice, and she would later partner up with him. To this day she maintains a close working relationship with him, often working complicated cases together.  Being able to adapt to a multitude of courts, and prosecutors and being in front of various judges elevated her skills in the courtroom and gave her an edge in the courts she practiced in.  She is highly respected, most notably in Adams, Grant, Franklin, and now Benton County courts.   Rodriguez Law was established to serve the Tri-Cities area after recognizing the need for quality criminal defense lawyers, locally.  Rodriguez Law retains a rich inheritance of legal knowledge and skills from top criminal defense lawyers through the values instilled in our principal attorney, Jessica Rodriguez.

CRIMINAL DEFENSE ENCOMPASSES A BROAD RANGE OF OFFENSES:

DUI Defense and Other Driving Offenses as well as Domestic Violence Offenses are the most common as they carry a multitude of consequences if convicted.  For a more detailed list of specific offenses, keep scrolling!

We have helped hundreds of people throughout the years quash their warrants and get their lives back on track.  We are skilled at handling this for you even if it has been several years or if you have multiple warrants.  Claim your life back and discover the relief you will feel once you can put this behind you.

We are mostly hired for DUI probation violations because depending on the violation, you could face up to 30 days in jail for each violation of said nature.  There could be alternatives to confinement but the consequences to your driver’s license also have surprising consequences. If you have been charged with a new crime, we can represent you on both the new charge and probation violation, and that usually is the best strategy for the most successful outcome.

The most common revocation proceedings are those involving a DUI deferred prosecution and/or a stipulated order of continuance, also known as a continuance for a dismissal.  These revocation proceedings are triggered by a violation of a condition of a previous order that was entered.  If an individual is revoked, a stipulated facts or bench trial may result.

The majority of the DOL proceedings we represent individuals on are DUI suspension, and Habitual Traffic Offender matters. We occasionally handle other types of matters as well because navigating the legal intricacies of administrative proceedings can be complex for the average individual.

If you need help with obtaining or defending against a civil protection order, we are here to help.  If you are also charged with a criminal offense, we prefer to handle any proceedings related to a civil protection order to protect you from further issues as we get through your other case.

This could encompass many issues.  Contact us today to see if we can help you.

DRIVING OFFENSES

Please note that most driving offenses have license consequences, and if you are on probation for DUI, convictions and probation violations could result in a lengthy sentence and/or additional license suspensions.  An accumulation of driving convictions in a short number of years could also result in habitual driving suspensions as long as 7 years.  We are skilled at handling these types of offenses and protecting your future.  It can be difficult to come back from a license suspension and puts an incredible strain on your life. Felony Driving offenses also carry a license revocation and are listed toward the bottom of this page.
